Refund policy
PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM LOCI
You can return an item with a manufacturing defect to LOCI within 7 days of receipt and we will either replace it, credit your LOCI customer account with a voucher, or refund you subject to the terms below.
Please report any shortages or damages within 24 hours from the time of receiving your purchase in writing via e-mail to info@loci.co.za, explaining the problem, manufacturing defect or handling damage from the delivery. Kindly include any photographs if possible so that we may best assist you.
In all cases, the items returned must be in their original condition and unused without any prior installation, which includes any packaging. All items returned must include all accessories and components they were sold with and in their original packaging. All goods will be inspected on return. The goods are your responsibility until they reach our Warehouse. Please ensure you package your return appropriately to prevent any damage to the items or boxes. Items damaged in transit will not be refunded.
Returns are subject to a 10 % Return Handling Fee and shipping fees are non-refundable.

Sale items and gift cards may not be refunded.
LOCI can also not accept returns on pre-order or custom order furniture items unless there is a manufacturing fault. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If an exchange or refund is required, the items should be returned to us in their original condition and packaging within 7 days of your purchase.
For items returned for a reason other than a manufacturing fault, that show signs of use, installation or wear and tear, the items will not be accepted for return.
If after items are inspected they are deemed to have a manufacturing defect, or LOCI has sent incorrect order items, only a portion of the cost relating to the faulty item/s will be refunded.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods returned are deemed to be used, installed, damaged or tampered with not in accordance with our terms outlined above. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We do not offer a free returns service, therefore it is your responsibility to cover the shipping costs for the return. LOCI shipping costs to you are non-refundable. However, if you return items for replacement, we will dispatch the replacement goods to you free of charge.
Please send items for return back in their original packaging with a courier of your choice.
We do not accept COD's or SAPO packages. Kindly keep the receipt or tracking number of your returned package in the event it is delayed or lost in transit.
We cannot be held responsible for items lost or delayed in transit on the way back to us. We cannot refund items that are not returned.
PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN / EXCEPTIONS / NON RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following products are NOT eligible for a return for refund, exchange or credit:
- products on promotion;
- electronic vouchers;
- gift cards;
- any items which are "out of stock or pre-order" or made to your specifications, unless defective manufacturing has occurred
- glass products (mirrors)
PREPARING YOUR ITEMS FOR RETURN
To ensure your request for returned items is approved, you are responsible for the following when returning your products;
- Package your products safely and securely for protection during transit;
- Clearly mark your return reference number on the outside of the parcel; and
- Include all original packaging, accessories, parts and components that were sold with the product.
Failure to strictly adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether.
INCORRECT PRODUCT DELIVERED
Should we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you
- Please do not remove the product from its original packaging or any of the stickers or labels.
- Notify us as immediately and we will collect the product from you at no charge.
We will either:
- deliver the correct item to you
- send you a voucher for the purchase price of the product; or
- issue a refund (using the same method of payment you originally used for the purchase).
Please note that a refund is not available if you did not purchase the item, eg. item was received as a gift.
PRODUCTS DAMAGED ON DELIVERY
Should a product be damaged at the time of delivery, please notify us of such delivery immediately by email to info@loci.co.za. It is your responsibility to personally inspect packaging and items and note any damage on the receiving ticket before signing for it. If you have not opened the packages please write the words “unchecked” next to your name on the waybill.
We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, replace the product as soon as possible or credit your account with the purchase price of the product or refund the credit card used. The shipping cost is non refundable. Credits and refunds are normally handled within 8 days of logging the return (refunds can take 1-4 working days to reflect in your account). Repairs and replacements could take longer, depending on stock availability.
We do not refund goods damaged after delivery, goods that have been used or installed, or goods returned without all original packaging, parts and accessories.
MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality and without manufacturing defects.
If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as you become aware of the defect, within 7 days of delivery of the item/s.
We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, replace the product as soon as possible or credit your account with the purchase price of the product or refund the credit card used. Credits and refunds are normally handled within 8 days of logging the return (refunds can take 1-4 working days to reflect in your account). Repairs and replacements could take longer, depending on stock availability.
Please return the item in it's original packaging with all accessories and components. Our courier is entitled to refuse collection of a product that is not correctly packaged for transport.
VOUCHERS AND COUPONS
There are two types of Coupons: a Coupon with a fixed amount of a discount, e.g. R100 off (“Fixed Coupon”), and a Coupon with a percentage discount, e.g. 10% off (“Percentage Coupon”).
Where you have used a Fixed Coupon to pay for an order, and you or LOCI later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to delivery of the relevant product/s, or you log a return of one or more products for a credit in accordance with this Policy, the value of the Fixed Coupon will be deducted from the purchase price of the cancelled or returned product(s) (as applicable), and we will credit your account for the balance, if any (or refund you if that is your preference). We will also provide you with a replacement Fixed Coupon of the same value as the original Fixed Coupon used.
LOCI may in its sole discretion impose restrictions on the use of the replacement Fixed Coupon. For any subsequent cancellations or returns arising out of the same order, we will credit your account as normal with the value of the returned product (or refund you if that is your preference).
Where you have used a Percentage Coupon to pay for an order, and you or LOCI later cancels your order (or part thereof) prior to delivery of the relevant product(s), or you log a return of one or more products for a credit in accordance with this Policy, the value of the discount received using the Percentage Coupon will be deducted from the purchase price of the cancelled or returned product(s) (as applicable), and we will credit your account for the balance, if any (or refund you if that is your preference). We will also provide you with a replacement Fixed Coupon of the same value as the discount received using the original Percentage Coupon. LOCI may in its sole discretion impose restrictions on the use of the replacement Fixed Coupon. For any subsequent cancellations or returns arising out of the same order, we will credit your account as normal with the value of the returned product (or refund you if that is your preference).
Wherever you have used a Voucher to purchase a product that you later return for a refund in accordance with this Policy, we cannot refund you in cash for that portion of the purchase price which you paid using the Voucher.
CHARGES
If you return a product to us, but you fail to return part or all of the accessories or packaging that were sold with that product, we are entitled to refuse the return.
If you return a product that does not comply with this policy, you may be liable to reimburse LOCI for the cost of collecting the product from you and the cost of having the product returned to you.
REQUESTING A RETURN
To request a return, contact info@loci.co.za.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
EXCHANGES
To ensure you get the item you want, return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item to avoid stock shortages or delays.
